Control Capabilities

LED fixtures can be connected to a controller to selectively dim individual LEDs and provide dynamic control of light distribution, light output and color. LED lighting with a suitable control system offers unlimited architectural lighting design possibilities.


LEDs are fully dimmable for adjusting light levels and for additional energy savings.

Durability and Stability

LEDs are very durable, solid state components which have no delicate filaments or glass bulbs that can be damaged by shock and vibration like incandescent and fluorescent tubes.

Energy Efficiency

LEDs are up to 90% more energy efficient than other types of lighting, providing substantial electricity cost savings.

Environmentally Friendly

LEDs contain absolutely no mercury, a hazardous waste. LEDs produce no EMI (electromagnetic interference) emissions. Fluorescent lamps contain 10 to 40mg of mercury per bulb, and produce substantial EMI emissions. These attributes, combined with energy efficiency, no UV, and cooler operation to reduce air conditioning loads, make LED lighting an excellent choice to meet today’s LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) green building requirements. Earth-friendly, LEDs are a leading component in green lighting technology.

Instant On

LEDs glow immediately without any delay or flicker. They also operate properly in cold temperatures and hazardous environments. CFLs and fluorescent tubes can take up to 60 seconds before they reach their maximum light output. This duration is even longer in cold temperatures!

Long Life

LED lamp life ranges up to 50,000 hours, considerably longer than incandescent (up to 2,000 hrs.), CFL (8,000 hrs.), fluorescent (up to 30,000 hrs.) and HID (up to 30,000 hrs.) light sources. LEDs long service life provides substantial maintenance savings.

Low Heat Output

LEDs operate in a low voltage environment, consume far less energy than other light sources, and generate very little forward throw heat. By comparison, incandescent lights expend 90% of their energy consumed as heat, making bulbs hot to the touch and requiring larger fixture enclosures to manage the heat. Incandescent lights generate up to 30X more heat than a LED! LEDs are cool to the touch, can be used in more applications, and reduce the safety risks of potential burns and fire hazards. LEDs cooler operation also reduces building air conditioning loads for utility cost savings.

Range of Colors

LEDs are available in a range of colors, including white light. White light LED fixtures are available with a choice of warm to cool temperatures to suit the application. Multiple color LED fixtures are available to provide dramatic color-changing effects. Variable intensity LED systems can provide over 16 million colors, controlled by PC, DMX controller or proprietary controller to generate fixed color, washing, fading, strobe and other color changing effects.


LEDs cool to the touch operation greatly reduces the safety risk of potential burns or fire hazard. Low voltage power supply provides electrical safety.

Small Size for Design Flexibility

LEDs miniature size provides extraordinary luminaire design capabilities in fixture shape, size, number of LEDs, and light distribution.

Silent Operation

LED lighting produces no objectionable hum or buzzing noise.

UV Free

LEDs produce no UV (ultraviolet) radiation. This makes LED a preferred light source for illuminating artwork, documents and sensitive materials that can be damaged by UV radiation. Some examples are fabrics and furnishings.
